It Truly IS God's Will to Heal!

It is so common to hear the phrase, "If it be God's will" in conjunction with healing.   This I know for sure ... the Word of God is equal to the Will of God. So if His Word clearly says that Jesus died for our healing, then it IS His will to heal! We tend to believe what we see rather than what God's promises say. But faith is believing BEFORE you see!

This week at Illness Recovery, we carefully studied scripture to see that the truth is that Jesus' stripes paid the price in full for our completeness, our safety, our welfare, our prosperity, and our health!

The chastisement (penalty or price) for our peace (safety, welfare, prosperity, health, completeness, nothing missing and nothing broken) was upon Him, and by His stripes we were healed! (cured, healed, repaired, thoroughly made whole, restored to normal)!!!! (Isaiah 53:5)

God's Heart, Our Heart

I was looking carefully through the website of a man who the world has named a "faith healer".  I read page after page of his website, searching for the source of all divine healing ... Jesus!  But I couldn't find even one reference to the great Jehovah Rapha ... Jesus the Healer.  


Jesus is the center of the healing ministry Kent and I have been called into.  It is Jesus who loved us so very much that He shed His precious blood to pay for our wholeness ... wholeness of body, wholeness of soul, and wholeness of spirit.  And I will proclaim that message boldly as we share the gospel with His people!


Kent and I have been called to minister to those in need of healing.  But there's more than healing of the body or soul that He's called us to share.  We are to disciple (teach, lead, guide, empower, strengthen, edify, exhort) those who come to us in need.  


With all my heart, I desire to tell others about surrendering all to God ... to give Jesus Lordship over every facet of life!  I desire to take God's children by the hand, and put their hand into the hand of Christ ... to show them how to have an intimate relationship with Him.  


Through our books and our ministry, we have the amazing opportunity to see new life birthed right in front of us.  We are blessed beyond measure to see the invisible God become visible as bodies are healed and lives are changed right in front of our eyes.  


Brothers and sisters, we are encouraged about you because of your faith.  For now we really live, since you are standing firm in the Lord.  How can we thank God enough for you in return for all the joy we have in the presence of our God because of you?  (1 Thessalonians 3:7-9)

It is pure joy to serve God's people!  

Healed of Lung Cancer!

Joe and Jane have been attending Illness Recovery for several months now.  When they first started coming, Joe was very frail.  He walked with a cane, and was very weak in the natural.  Joe had a diagnosis of metastatic lung cancer.  Jane and Joe have been lifelong Christians, but simply didn't know the magnitude of God's will to heal and to care for them.  Now they know!  Joe called us last week with great news.  He is completely healed!  The medical report agrees with God's report!  Jane told me that they weren't surprised at all, because they knew God's promises for them, and were confident in His Word.  But are they ever rejoicing!  Praise be to God, the giver of all good gifts!  To Him be the glory and honor and praise forever and ever!
